The Miri people group is a small tribe farming and raising livestock in the remote Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan.
They cultivate sorghum and corn and have no known schools or health care facilities.
Most of the Miri people identify as Muslims, though there are Christians among them. Traditional religious practices remain a spiritual stronghold in their families.
Roads are almost non-existent in this area, and transportation of goods and services is a challenge, especially in the rainy season.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to give them hearts that seek truth no matter what the cost.
Pray for loving and dedicated workers to go to the Miri people.
Pray for the Miri people to seek and find the only savior.
Pray for Miri leaders to have dreams of the risen Christ and share that dream with others.
